Alfonso Gonzalez is the Founding Partner of Gonzalez Torres Law and a trusted advocate in immigration, criminal defense, and personal injury matters. With over 10 years of legal experience, Alfonso has earned a reputation for being a steady, strategic, and compassionate attorney who always puts his clients first.
Alfonso’s path to law was shaped by his experience as the son of immigrants and his early career as a probation officer in Gwinnett County. Seeing firsthand how underserved communities struggled to navigate the justice system sparked his decision to become an attorney. He pursued his law degree at Ohio Northern University, where he interned with the South Texas Civil Rights Project, helping low-income families with immigration cases.
Since then, Alfonso has dedicated his career to providing skilled, honest legal counsel—particularly for Spanish-speaking clients who often face cultural and language barriers. He believes in empowering clients through education and clear communication, and his calm, confident approach has made him a go-to attorney in both criminal and immigration courts.
Whether he’s defending someone’s rights in a criminal case, guiding a family through the immigration process, or standing up for an injured client, Alfonso brings focus and care to every matter. He co-founded Gonzalez Torres Law with a vision of building a client-centered practice rooted in community and justice.
